Aeromexico

The airline converted a former hangar into a service center with more than 1.000 employees. The general layout was open-plan so that noise and echoes could travel without any attenuation. In addition, the historic ceiling structure could not support heavy loads.

The solution to the acoustic problem was to install 3.000 yards of lightweight Feltum baffles. The baffles were suspended from cables that were mounted into the walls of the building. This avoided putting additional loads on the ceiling while relieving the employees from disturbing reverberation noises.
